Queen's Rowing hauled in an impressive 13 medals at the Brock Invitational regatta this past weekend in St. Catharines, Ont.
Queen's captured gold in seven events, while also earning silver in three events and bronze in four events.
The Gaels finished first in the Lightweight Women's 1X (
Julia Teixeira), Women's 1X (
Julia Schuurmans), Women's 2- (
Ceilidh MacDonald,
Claire Ellison), Women's 4+ (Teixeira, Schuurmans, MacDonald, Ellison, and
Nicole Schmidt), and Lightweight Women's 8+ (
Jess Stephenson,
Emily Pain,
Brigitte Gaudert,
Isabelle Ngo, Isi Ferguson,
Emma Abicht,
Emma Shimizu, Izzy Geiger,
Sophie Robbins) on the Women's side, and the Lightweight Men's 2X (

Bob Bryden) on the Men's side.
Queen's also captured silvers in the Women's Pair (Pain, Gaudert), Men's 2- (Nummi, Bryden) and Lightweight Men's 4+ (Celia, Abicht,
Leo Biancaniello,
Nigel Radhakrishnan, Stephenson) events.
And the Gaels earned bronze finishes in the Lightweight Women's 2- (Shimizu, Geiger) and Women's 2X (

Bryn Bain) on the Women's side, and the Lightweight Men's 1X (Radhakrishnan) and Men's 8+ (Josh Holmes,

Queen's also earned bronze medals in the Novice Men's 4+ and Novice Women's 4+ events.
Queen's will return to the water for the OUA Championship from Friday, Oct. 27-Saturday, Oct. 28 in St. Catharines, Ont.Â
