Gold and more for Queen's at Canadian University Rowing Championship

Queen’s Women’s Rowing wins Canadian University Rowing Championship; Gaels finish with three gold, three silver, and one bronze medal

Queen's Women's Rowing are national champions, after finishing atop the scoring table at the Canadian University Rowing Championship to claim team gold.

The Gaels finished the national championship regatta with 119 points on the Women's side, 19 points ahead of the silver medal winning Western Mustangs. Queen's Women's Rowing earned three gold and two silver across six events to win the national title for the first time since 2007 and only second time ever.

Queen's Men's Rowing also had a strong regatta, earning one silver, and one bronze to finish fifth overall.

Combined, the Gaels earned three gold medals, three silver medals, and one bronze medal in the national championship regatta.

Queen's won gold in Women's Lightweight 2X, Women's Lightweight 4+, and Women's 8+.

Queen's won silver in Women's Lightweight 1X, Women's 2-, and Men's Lightweight 2X.

And Queen's won bronze in Men's Lightweight 4X.
