In the Classroom

From 1990 until 2014, the Queen's Gaels have seen success both on the field of play and in the classroom. During that time frame 1,959 student-athletes have been named U SPORTS Academic All-Canadians. This designation is awarded to the exceptional student-athletes who achieve an academic standing of 80% or better while playing on one of their university's varsity teams.

ARC - Your Impact
Possible largely by the students’ $25.5 million commitment along with the generous support of alumni and friends, the ARC opened in 2009.
Richardson - Your Impact
Most of the stadium’s $20.27 million revilalization cost will be funded through philanthropy. Queen’s is very thankful to the donors who are supporting this project, including Stu and Kim Lang, as well as the Richardson Family Foundation.
Tindall - Your Impact
Tindall Field named in honour of Frank Tindall who was a legendary football & basketball coach at Queen's from 1947 until 1975 opened in October 2008.
Miklas - Your Impact
Miklas-McCarney Field used for a variety of field sports, opened in 2011. The $3.1-million project was funded largely through philanthropy.
Nixon - Your Impact
Nixon Field revitalized through the generous support of donors including a significant gift from Gord and Janet Nixon.
