The Queen's Artistic Swimming had a phenomenal weekend hosting the Canadian University Artistic Swimming League's Eastern Divisionals, with almost all routines placing in the top five and the experienced team securing first place in their event.
In the Experienced free events,
Sarah Taylor (Biotechnology) earned second place in the solo category.
Alyssa You (Health Sciences),
Faith Bennet (Science), and
Jayla Seymour (Kinesiology) also made it onto the podium with a third-place finish in the duet/trio event.
Competing in the same event,
Victoria Mee (Engineering) and
Coco Petracchi (Arts) earned a fourth-place ribbon, while
Nadia Garcia (Concurrent Education) and
Maggie Keogan (Psychology/Philosophy) swam beautifully and achieved a personal-best score.
Claire Christie (Concurrent Education) also competed in the solo event, delivering a well-executed and engaging routine.
In the Novice technical events, Anissa Nielson (Life Sciences) and
Olivia Winslow (Environmental Geology) placed fifth in the duet/trio category. The Novice team also put on a strong performance on Sunday, earning another fifth-place ribbon in the team event.
