On Saturday, Gaels forward
Nolan Hutcheson will be suiting up for his 100th game for the Tricolour.

Hutcheson, from Gananoque, joined Queen's in 2021-2022 for the 20 game shortened season and helped get Queen's a 19-1 regular season record. A regular fixture on the top lines for Queen's, his big breakout season was the 2024-2025 campaign where he scored 20 goals in 25 games, scored two goals in a 4-0 win over Toronto Varsity Blues to win the OUA Bronze Medal to book a ticket to the University Cup National Championship.

Hutcheson has scored 4 goals in one game against Ontario Tech Ridgebacks in October 2023 to go along with 14 other multi goal games in the 98 he has played thus far in his career. He has also competed for Team Canada at the Universaide, helping Canada win gold in Italy in January 2025.

The current record holder for most games played is Stephane Chabot with 135 games, followed by Jon Lawrence with 132 and Kelly Jackson with 130

"With the history of the program and the players that have shared this jersey through the years" said Hutcheson, from Gananoque "I have not taken it for granted. 100 OUA games doesn't happen often so to be able to share this moment with the team is special and means a lot to me."

Head Coach, and fellow Gananoque resident
Brett Gibson said ""I am really happy for Nolan reaching the 100 game mark. He epitomizes what we look for in a player at Queens. A great player, great student and a great person. I have throughly enjoyed coaching Hutch and can't wait to see what the season brings for him."
