Queen's Men's Hockey were edged 3-2 by the Ottawa Gee-Gees in the second half of their weekend roadtrip in the Nation's Capital Sunday afternoon.
The Gaels opened the scoring with a power play goal by
Cameron Tolnai (Business) in the first period before the Gee-Gees responded with two goals to take a one-goal lead.
Queen's would even the score with a goal by
Nolan Hutcheson (Health Studies) early in the third period but Ottawa would score one later in the final frame for the one-goal win.
With the loss, the Gaels' record fell to 2-4-0. Queen's is back in action Wednesday night, taking on their crosstown rivals, the RMC Paladins, 7:30 p.m. at Memorial Centre.
