KINGSTON, Ont. (March 27, 2024) – Queen's Football will open their 2024 regular season schedule on the road, taking on the Windsor Lancers in Windsor, Ont. on Saturday, Aug. 24. Queen's Football will be home the next weekend, hosting the McMaster Marauders on Saturday, Aug. 31 at Richardson Stadium.

The OUA announced the 2024 regular season schedule Wednesday, with Queen's Football opening the season against the Lancers, before hosting the Marauders on Saturday, Aug. 31 at 6 p.m. in their home opener at Richardson Stadium.

Football season ticket packages are on sale now and can be purchased on the Queen's Gaels Tickets webpage. Single-game tickets will be on sale prior to the start of the regular season.

Queen's Football is coming off a 5-3 regular season and advanced to the semifinals in the OUA Playoffs.

Along with the Marauders, Queen's Football is also hosting the York Lions, Guelph Gryphons, and Waterloo Warriors, and will visit the Ottawa Gee-Gees, Western Mustangs, and Laurier Golden Hawks, along with the Lancers.

"Everyone here at Queen's is looking forward to the challenge of road games against many of the top teams in the conference, continued rivalries and the always anticipated big time atmosphere at Richardson Stadium," said Queen's Football Head Coach Steve Snyder.

"Our homecoming opponent this year is Waterloo, who we have yet to match up against since arriving as a staff in 2019."

Queen's Football homecoming game against the Warriors will take place Saturday, Oct. 19 at 1 p.m. at Richardson Stadium.

"A 6 p.m. kickoff for our home game against McMaster should be a really electric energy. We cherish the opportunity to play at Richardson in front of our students, Queen's Bands, Queen's Pom, faculty, staff parents, fans and alumni."
