KINGSTON, Ont. (Nov. 21, 2024) Three members of Queen's Football were named U SPORTS All-Canadians at the U SPORTS All-Canadian Awards Banquet presented by FieldTurf Thursday night in Kingston, Ont.

Defensive tackle Darien Newell and linebacker Justin Pace were named U SPORTS First Team All-Canadians, while running back Jared Chisari was named a Second Team All-Canadian for their performances with Queen's Football during the 2024 season.

Newell (Philosophy) finished the regular season with 18.5 tackles (13 solo, 11 assisted), 3.5 sacks, and 5.5 tackles for a loss. Newell was tied for 11^th in the OUA in sacks and tackles for a loss.

Pace (Economics) finished the regular season with 52.5 tackles (38 solo, 29 assisted), 2.5 sacks, 5.5 tackles for a loss, two interceptions, and two forced fumbles. Pace's 52.5 tackles were third in the OUA.

Chisari (Graduate Studies) finished the regular season with 113 carries for 785 yards and seven touchdowns in seven games while adding another 11 receptions for 73 yards. Chisari was second in the OUA in rushing, and first in rushing yards per game, averaging 112.1.

Queen's Football finished the year with a 5-3 regular season record and advanced to the OUA semifinals.
