Queen's Football picked up a commanding 55-17 win over the Carleton Ravens, highlighted by a record-breaking performance from Tyler Mullan (Arts & Science).
Mullan opened the scoring with a 42-yard field goal, before Carleton responded to take a 7-3 lead. Alex Vreeken (Kinesiology) answered for the Gaels, connecting with Logan Walton (Economics) for a 42-yard touchdown to give Queen's a 10-7 lead after the opening quarter.
The Gaels continued to build their lead in the second, with Vreeken finding Jayce Baldwin (Health Studies) for a 39-yard touchdown. Mullan added a 30-yard field goal before Vreeken connected with Walton for his second touchdown of the game, sending Queen's into halftime ahead 27-10.
Queen's kept rolling in the second half. Ashton St.Germain (Arts & Science) rushed for a one-yard touchdown before Vreeken connected with Cedric Smith (Arts & Science) for a 12-yard score.
Smith found the end zone again in the fourth quarter, this time on a 40-yard pass from St.Germain, before Jayden Gurzi-MacDonald capped off the scoring with a six-yard rushing touchdown.
Mullan finished the afternoon with two field goals and seven successful converts, adding another historic milestone to his Queen's career as the Gaels secured the 55-17 victory over Carleton.
