Media Credentials

For full season or single game media and photo credentials, please contact Manager, Partnerships & Communications or Coordinator, Communications. Requests for single game credentials should be submitted at least 48 hours in advance of the game.

Single game credentials can be picked up at the media entrance ahead of each game, which is located at Gate 3 (Southwest Corner of Richardson Stadium). Credentials must be produced upon entry and upon request any time thereafter. Credentials are non-transferable and may be revoked at any time if media members are non-compliant with media access policies and procedures in place at the sole discretion of Queen's Athletics & Recreation.

Interviews

Interviews with coaches and players can be arranged throughout the week upon request. Please contact Manager, Partnerships & Communications or Coordinator, Communications to arrange interviews.
Head Coach Steve Snyder will hold media availability the Thursday before each regular season and playoff game at the Athletics and Recreation Centre (ARC). Timing details will be distributed to media each week.

Game Day

Media check-in is at Gate 3 at Richardson Stadium (see attached map) and will be open two hours before kickoff. Single game credentials can be picked up at this location.

Every effort will be made to accommodate requests for seating in the Richardson Stadium media box; however, space is limited and cannot be guaranteed for every game.

Post-game interviews with players and coaches can be arranged upon request. Please contact Manager, Partnerships & Communications or Coordinator, Communications by the start of the fourth quarter to arrange post-game interviews. Post-game interviews will be conducted at field level.

Game notes, rosters, and depth charts will be available to media in the press box approximately one hour before game time.

Live statistics will be available on OUA.ca and USPORTS.ca during the game. The official box score and statistics will be available approximately 30 minutes after the game.

Photography

Photographers check-in is at Gate 3 at Richardson Stadium (see attached map) and will be open two hours before kickoff. Single game credentials can be picked up at this location.

Photographers must wear an additional Queen’s photographer identification (provided vest) while working field level.

Photographers are free to shoot from the sidelines and end zones at field level, in addition to the stands and concourse at Richardson Stadium.

As per the OUA sideline policy, the following additional regulations apply:
  • Photographers must stay 3 metres (9' 10") behind the sideline and end zone (i.e. behind the advertising banners)
  • It is forbidden to leave camera equipment unattended along the sidelines and end zones.
While photographers are allowed to pass through the team bench areas, they are not permitted to shoot while in the bench areas and are asked to walk behind the benches and along the outer wall to be respectful of the players and coaches.

Photographers will also be granted access to the Richardson Stadium press box (pending space) to upload photos. There will be a photographers' tent on the northwest corner of the field to upload photos.
