Caroline Livingston named to Volleyball Canada National Team NextGen Squad

| By:
Volleyball Canada on Thursday announced the women's indoor team players for the 2019 season.

Among those named to the Canadian roster are Caroline Livingston who just completed her fifth season with the Queen's women's volleyball program. In her final season with the Gaels she was named an OUA East 1st team All-Star and the recipient of the Award of Merit which honours her work in the classroom and the community where she served as a co-president of the Queen's Varsity Leadership Council.

"It's such an honour to have been targeted as a member of the Next Gen Team," said Queen's women's volleyball alumna Caroline Livingston. "I've been so humbled by the news, and I'm so grateful for all of my coaches, teammates, mentors, support staff, friends, family, and everyone who has helped me throughout my volleyball career thus far. I'm really looking forward to getting better this summer and contributing everything I can to this program. I'm so proud to be Canadian and can't wait to get training."

The first competition for the women's team will be the Challenge Cup – a continental pre-qualifier for Volleyball Nations League to be held in Chateauguay, QC, May 31 to June 02.

The women will also compete in the Pan American Games in Peru this summer, and the Women's Olympic Qualifier in Russia, August 2-4. 2019, as well as other select international competitions.
