Being a member of Queen's Athletics means that you have the opportunity to be an active leader in the Queen's and Kingston community.
Each varsity team and club athlete has a responsibility to uphold the values of Queen's Athletics, as the "Q Never Comes Off".
Queen's Gaels are committed to ensuring a safe, respectful and positive environment for everyone. From pre-season training to championship matches, each athlete is responsible for maintaining the integrity of our athletics program.
VLC Mission Statement
The Varsity Leadership Council (VLC) exists as a forum for varsity student-athletes to discuss their athletic experience at Queen’s, provide recommendations for Queen’s Athletics & Recreation, and facilitate interaction between all varsity student-athletes. The council aims to promote a positive image of Queen’s student-athletes and build relations within Queen’s University and the Kingston community through volunteer and program outreach. The VLC aims to foster a positive student-athlete culture through providing team building opportunities and support across all varsity programs.
