Women's Fastpitch
The Gaels were on a roll this past weekend as they swept all four games over the course of two days. First, they were in Toronto on Saturday for a doubleheader against the York Lions. They took both games, 11-0 and 10-0, in a dominant display of offence and pitching. On the day,
Sarah Cvetkovski had 5 RBI with 3 triples and a single while throwing a scoreless outing for a win. Meanwhile,
Natalie Buderick picked up the other win on the mound as she only allowed 2 hits in the Gaels win.
On Sunday, the Gaels returned home for a double header against McMaster. They took both games, 7-4 and 9-7, to complete the four-game weekend sweep.
Natalie Buderick pitched both games securing another pair of wins to go along with 9 strikeouts.
Sarah Cvetkovski had another 4 RBI with a double and a homerun.
Ciara Papaiounnou had 4 hits and Isabelle Dunn had 3 RBI with 3 hits.
Next weekend, the Gaels will host the Toronto Varsity Blues for a doubleheader at Garrigan Park starting at 2pm on Saturday, September 29. Then on Sunday, they will host the Ryerson Rams for a pair of games starting at 11am.
Sailing
Queen's sailing had a very successful weekend including a win at the McGill invitational.

Cycling 
The cycling team continued their hot streak with an impressive performance at the third U-Cup race of the season at the Ganaraska Forest Conservation Area in Port Hope, Ont.
The Gaels swept the podium in the men's A category as Andrew Jonker (1
st), Chris Hatton (2
nd) and Evan Mant (3
rd) claimed the top three spots. Meanwhile, Hannah Simms grabbed the top spot in the women's A category and Ben Ernewein placed third in the men's B category.
With one more race left to go, the Gaels stand on top of the 2018 University Cup standings with a 196 lead over second place Toronto. They'll look to bring homeÂ
The final race will be held next Sunday, September 30 in Barrie, Ont.Â
Men's Baseball
The Gaels were on the road this past weekend however, they managed to take three of four games on the road to improve their overall record to 7-3.
On Saturday, Queen's took on the Western Mustangs in London and came away with a pair of 4-3 victories.
Then on Sunday, the Gaels headed to Guelph where they split a doubleheader with the Gryphons. They took the first game by a large 15-3 margin before dropping the second game 7-6.
Next weekend, the Gaels will have a four-game set at home as they welcome the Laurier Golden Hawks to Megaffin Park on Saturday and then the Waterloo Warriors on Sunday.
Women's Field Hockey
The women's field hockey team was in tough on Saturday as they took on the reigning OUA champions, York University, in London. Despite a strong game in net by
Amanda Thoo, the Gaels fell 4-0.
Later that day, the Gaels took on the defending OUA silver-medalists, the Guelph Gryphons, in a close battle. After heading into the halftime break tied 1-1, the Gaels allowed a late goal for the 2-1 loss.
The Gaels get to return home to Tindall Field next weekend for three games. On Saturday, they will host McGill at 9am followed by Toronto later in the afternoon. Then on Sunday, they'll look for revenge against York at 12:30pm.
