Queen's Sailing Team wins McMaster Invitational
This past weekend, four Queen's sailors competed at McMaster for a two-day light wind regatta. It was an amazing first regatta for rookies Maggie MacDonald and Nick Langhorne who won the event alongside veterans Natalie Tanczak and Christina Black.

Tricky wind conditions made for a challenging event, but the Gaels pulled through to win 8 out of 12 races, ending the weekend with a 16-point lead for the top spot. Another huge congratulations to rookies Margaret Wilkens, Benjamin Stevens, Cam Wallace, and Aryeh Kozuch for their incredible performance at the McGill Invitational this weekend where Queen's placed first again. At Fall Cork, Matti Maru, James Juhasz, Leo Shebib, Noah Collinson, and Liam Bruce made Queen's proud with Matti coming in 1st, Liam in 3rd, Noah in 8th, and Leo in 13th in a 16-boat fleet.

As of now, Queen's sailing has the top overall spot in the CICSA rankings and our G
aels are looking to dominate at the Can/Am cup next weekend, a home event where they will be competing against the best in Canada and the US. Great job sailors!
