Women's Lacrosse
The women's lacrosse team played their final two games, facing Laurier (11-1, first place in the west) and Guelph (5-8, 3rd place in the west). With a record of 10-0-1 the Gaels were looking to remain undefeated.
Queen's would come out to an early 4-2 lead in the game, however, Laurier pushed back within 1 goal going into the half. The Golden Hawks rode their momentum to two early goals to take a lead early in the 2nd half. The teams would trade goals before the Gaels would score four unanswered and take an 11-7 lead late into the game. Laurier scored three times to cut the Gaels' lead down to one, however it was not enough as the Gaels would hold on to win and secure 1st place in the OUA.
In the second game of the day, the Gaels got off to a quick start against the Gryphons, to the tune of a 7-1 lead. Guelph would push back to make it 7-5, however that is as close as they got. The Gaels finished the game on a four-goal run and won 11-5.
