KINGSTON, Ont. (November 27, 2017) – Caitlyn Neapole (Los Angeles) of women's water polo and Alex Cox-Twardowski (Montreal) of men's water polo have been named the Gabriel Pizza Queen's University Varsity Club Athletes of the Week for the period ending November 26, 2017.
 
Caitlyn Neapole of the women's water polo team is the Queen's University Female Varsity Club Athlete of the Week. Netting seven goals, Neapole was the leading scorer for the Gaels at the NCWP (National Collegiate Water Polo) Championships hosted at Carleton this past weekend. The second year utility scored five goals during the 13-2 win over Guelph for fifth place at the NCWP Finals. Neapole was named a NCWP All-Star following a strong performance at the championships.
 
Alex Cox-Twardowski of the men's water polo team is the Queen's University Male Varsity Club Athlete of the Week. Team captain Cox-Twardowski led Queen's to their second straight OUA Bronze at the OUA Championships in Ottawa this past weekend. The scoring leader for the Tricolour with seven goals, the Montreal native tallied three against Western during their 8-3 win for an OUA bronze medal.
