Winless weekend

Ottawa (October 26, 2008) – Queen's continued its struggles in the pool as both the men's and women's water polo teams walked away winless over the weekend.

In the women's games Queen's would fall to York 17-6, McMaster 20-6 and to the Carelton Ravens 15-1. Ally Tosello of Hamilton was the lone bring spot for the Gaels scoring four of the Gaels six goals in the 17-6 loss to York. With the loss to Carleton, the Ravens stay undefeated, while the Gaels are winless at 0-4.

On the men's side, the Gaels also continued to struggle losing four times including two losses to McMaster. The Gaels opened the weekend with a 26-11 loss to York on Saturday then fell 16-5 to McMaster on Saturday. They equalled the same result on Sunday in a rematch, then lost to Carleton 23-4 to close the weekend. The men's record now sits at 0-6.

This weekend, the Gaels will host the Carleton Ravens on November 1st with the men's team contending at 1:30pm and the men's team will play the Ravens at 3:00pm
