Matt Nesbitt is in his sixth season with the Gaels after joining the team ahead of the 2019 season.
 
A former offensive linemen, Nesbitt began his playing career with the Guelph Gryphons, where he was the captain of the 2015 Yates Cup Champion team. Most recently, he has served as the Offensive Coordinator with the Windsor Lancers football program. Prior to joining the Lancers, Nesbitt spent one season as Assistant Offensive Coordinator at Guelph and one season as an Assistant Offensive Line Coach for the Toronto Argonauts in the Canadian Football League.
 
Nesbitt has also coached extensively with the Jr. Gryphons in the Ontario Provincial Football League and has been heavily involved with Team Ontario, working with both the U16 and U17 provincial staffs over the last five years, as well as being on the U17 Eastern Team Canada staff in 2017 as the Offensive Coordinator.
