Jason Casey joined the Gaels in 2012, after serving as the Defensive Coordinator and Head Coach of the Okanagan Sun junior team in Kelowna, B.C. Casey joined the Sun in 2007 as Defensive Coordinator, and was promoted to Head Coach in 2011. The Sun posted an 8-2 record in his one year in charge. Casey has already coached a Presidents’ Trophy winner, as he was the position coach for Max Caron during his time with the Sun. Casey played for Coach Sheahan with the Concordia Stingers, and was the 1999 OQIFC Defensive Player of the Year and a Second-Team All-Canadian.
