Niklas Henning was invited to NFL minicamps with the Las Vegas Raiders and Indianapolis Colts this past weekend.
The NFL held their annual draft this past weekend, with teams inviting rookies to their upcoming rookie minicamps to work out  and potentially earn contracts with the team. Henning (Geology) will work out with both the Raiders and Colts in their upcoming rookie minicamps.
Henning leads all U SPORTS prospects and is 14th overall in the rankings for the CFL Canadian Draft, which takes place Tuesday, April 28 at 7 PM. Tune into the CFL Canadian Draft on TSN and TSN+.
Henning recently participated in the CFL Combine ahead of the Draft and was named a standout performer by both CFL.ca and 3DownNation.com
Henning was named a U SPORTS Second Team All-Canadian and an OUA First Team All-Star after helping Queen's Football's offensive line pave the way for the conference's fifth best rushing attack, finishing the year with 1,493 yards, and third best offence overall, averaging 399.0 yards per game, while helping Queen's win the 117th Yates Cup.
