Two members of Queen's Women's Basketball team were selected by Team Charge in the HOOPQUEENS draft earlier this month.
Hussey (Kinesiology) made an instant impact for Queen's Women's Basketball last season, being named the OUA Rookie of the Year while also being named to the U SPORTS All Rookie Team and the OUA All Rookie Team.
Hailing from Etobicoke, Ont., Hussey made an impact on both ends of the court, leading all OUA rookies with 53 assists while averaging 11.3 points per game and collecting 106 total rebounds.
Offensively, Hussey led all Queen's rookies in total points (237), surpassing the previous record of 201 set by Liz Boag in 2010-11. The first-year player also finished first among Queen's rookies in field goals made (97) and field goals per game (4.6).
On the defensive end, Hussey was a force, finishing first in steals (53, 2.5 SPG) among all Queen's rookies.
Letlow is joining the Gaels for the 2025-26 season after four seasons with the Cape Breton Capers in Atlantic University Sport (AUS). Letlow, who finished last season averaging a double double with 20.8 points per game and 15 rebounds per game, is a three-time U SPORTS All Canadian and the 2022 U SPORTS Rookie of the Year.
Queen's Women's Basketball finished the 2024-25 season with a 15-7 record in the regular season, good for third in the OUA East Division, and advanced to the OUA quarterfinals.
