Queen's Gaels Nordic Ski put in a determined effort at the 2025 OUA Nordic Ski Championships hosted at Hiawatha Highlands in Sault Ste. Marie, Ont. Over three days of racing, the Gaels battled tough competition across individual and relay events.
Anna Semeniuk (Arts & Science) led the way for Queen's, finishing 7th in the 12km mass start (40:14.4) and 16th in the 15km interval start (48:34.2). On the men's side,
Aidan Westdal (Applied Science) was the top finisher for Queen's placing 26th in the 12km mass start (38:13.4) and 27th in the 15km free (43:50.6).
In the 3x5km relay, the women's Team A of Semeniuk,
Madeleine Tremblay (Arts & Science) and Claire Allan finished 7th (52:02.7), while the men's Team A of Matthew Cook, Cadence Gauley, and Westdal placed 11th (44:08.1).
