KINGSTON, Ont. (Nov. 7, 2024) – Nine members of Queen's Football were named OUA All-Stars for their performances during the 2024 season, the conference announced on Thursday.

Running back Jared Chisari, defensive tackle Darien Newell, and linebacker Justin Pace were named First Team All-Stars. Receiver Nathan Falconi, defensive end Silas Hubert, special teamers DJ Ryan, kick returner Iain St. Arnault, and half back Keegan Vanek were named Second Team All-Stars. And offensive lineman Simon Doncaster was named an All-Rookie.

"We are all really proud of these young men. All of their teammates were thrilled when we informed our team. It's an important individual recognition and always extra special to add to the history at Queen's," said Queen's Football Head Coach Steve Snyder.

"These guys would be the first to tell you that it's a credit to so many other people, we had a few terrific players left off the list as well, but overall, 2024 was another successful year on this front."

Chisari (Graduate Studies) finished the regular season with 113 carries for 785 yards and seven touchdowns in seven games while adding another 11 receptions for 73 yards. Chisari was second in the OUA in rushing, and first in rushing yards per game, averaging 112.1.

Newell (Philosophy) finished the regular season with 18.5 tackles (13 solo, 11 assisted), 3.5 sacks, and 5.5 tackles for a loss. Newell was tied for 11^th in the OUA in sacks and tackles for a loss.

Pace (Economics) finished the regular season with 52.5 tackles (38 solo, 29 assisted), 2.5 sacks, 5.5 tackles for a loss, two interceptions, and two forced fumbles. Pace's 52.5 tackles were third in the OUA.

Falconi (Health Studies) led Queen's Football in receiving with 36 receptions for 497 yards and seven touchdowns. Falconi was sixth in the OUA in receptions and ninth in receiving yards.

Hubert (Geology) led Queen's Football with 4.0 sacks and 8.0 tackles for a loss, while also adding 20.5 tackles (13 solo, 15 assisted), one forced fumble, and two fumble recoveries. Hubert was tied for sixth in the conference in sacks and fourth in tackles for a loss.

Ryan (Health Studies), who also plays linebacker for Queen's Football, was a force on Special Teams in seven regular season games this season.

St Arnault (Economics) had a historic season for Queen's Football, setting the OUA and U SPORTS single-game record for punt return yards with 296, while adding two return touchdowns, in Queen's Football's 52-19 win over the York Lions in Week 3.

St Arnault finished the season with 914 punt return yards on 48 returns, with a long of 129, 420 kick return yards on 17 returns, and three combined touchdowns. St. Arnault was first in the conference in punt return yards, combined return yards (1,334), touchdowns, and longest return (129 yards).

Vanek (Arts & Science) led Queen's Football and was tied for the conference lead in interceptions with four, while also adding 16.5 tackles (13 solo, seven assisted).

Doncaster (Computer Sciences) played in all right regular season games with six starts at left tackle for Queen's Football this season, helping pave the way for the conference's fifth best rushing attack, with Queen's finishing the year averaging 154.5 rushing yards per game in the regular season.
