Queen's Rowing had a strong showing at the Canadian University Rowing Championships in Victoria, B.C. this past weekend.
The Women's team finished third overall, scoring 90 points, 20 points behind the second place finishers from UBC and 18 points ahead of the fourth place finishers from Western. The Men's team finished fifth overall, recording 58 points on the weekend, 28 points behind the joint second place finishers, Victoria and Western.
The Gaels also earned four medals at the Championships, with the Men's Lightweight 4+ earning a gold medal, the Women's Lightweight 1x and Lightweight 4+ earning silver medals, and the Women's 8+ earning a bronze medal.
