Queen's Rowing's Nigel Radhakrishnan captured two national titles this past weekend, winning gold in both the Under-23 Men's Single (M1x) and Under-23 Men's Double (M2x) at the US RowFest National Championships in Ypsilanti, Michigan.
Radhakrishnan (Electrical Engineering) teamed up with Brock Rowing co-captain Riley Watson in the Under-23 Men's Double, with the pair racing to the top of the podium to secure the championship.
Queen's was also represented by incoming recruits Orla Bailey and Ben Schindler, who competed for Team Canada at the International Rowing Challenge Regatta, held alongside the US RowFest National Championships.
Schindler earned a bronze medal in the Men's Four (M4+) and added fourth-place finishes in the Men's Quad (M4x), Men's Double (M2x), and Mixed Eight (8+).
Bailey brought home two silver medals in the Women's Four (W4+) and Women's Quad (W4x), claimed bronze in the Women's Double (W2x), and finished fourth in the Mixed Eight (8+).
The performances showcased the strength of Queen's Rowing across both its current roster and incoming recruiting class as the Gaels continue building toward the 2026-27 season.
