Queen's Curling names Terry Zarichny Head Coach

Terry Zarichny has been named Queen's Curling Head Coach. Zarichny has been involved in the Queen's curling program over the past five seasons as an assistant coach.

Zarichny has coached and instructed curlers for over 30 years at both competitive and recreational levels. He has curled at the provincial level and coached at the OUA level for five seasons. He has also officiated at the Canadian Women's Curling Championships, the Scotties, and at a Pinty's Grand Slam of Curling event which was held in Kingston.

Zarichny was recognized by the Ontario Curling Association for his volunteer work, not only in the junior curling program at Cataraqui Golf & Country Club, but also for his affiliation with the Ontario Curling Association as a Junior Zone representative. Zarichny also founded the Greater Kingston Junior Curling League for competitive junior curling in Eastern Ontario.

Zarichny is looking forward to his new role as Head Coach of the Queen's Varsity Curling Teams.
