KINGSTON, Ont. (Feb. 13, 2023) - Maddie O'Connor and
Jack Li have been named the Queen's University Student-Athletes of the Week for their performances at their respective OUA Championships this past weekend.
O'Connor helped the Queen's Gaels capture their eighth straight OUA Women's Squash Championship on home courts at the Athletics and Recreation Centre in Kingston, Ont. with a perfect record throughout the tournament, playing as the team's No. 1. O'Connor was named an OUA All-Star and the OUA Women's Squash Most Valuable Player for her performance.
Li won the Bronze Medal in the Men's 200 metre Freestyle event and also broke numerous other individual and relay club records for Queen's at the OUA Swimming Championships this weekend.Â
