KINGSTON, Ont. (Nov. 21, 2022) - Julia Chadwick and Cam Bett from Queen's Women's and Men's Basketball have been named the Gaels' Varsity Student-Athletes of the Week for their performances over the weekend.

Chadwick led the way for Queen's Women's Basketball in two massive wins over the weekend as Queen's remained undefeated on the season.

Chadwick recorded a huge double-double with 18 points and 18 rebounds against the Carleton Ravens in a battle of Top 10 ranked teams before falling just one rebound shy of her second double double of the weekend with 15 points and nine rebounds against the Ontario Tech Ridgebacks. For the weekend, Chadwick averaged 16.5 points and 13.5 rebounds.

Queen's Women's Basketball sit atop the OUA East standings with a 6-0 record.

Bett helped Queen's Men's Basketball take down the top-ranked Carleton Ravens in front of a packed gym at the ARC, finishing with a game-high 22 points off the bench in Queen's 76-62 win over the Ravens, their second straight win over the powerhouse program.

Bett helped Queen's remain undefeated on the season with the massive win, with the Gaels now 5-0 and atop the OUA East standings.
