Women's curling finishes with national U SPORTS bronze

PORTAGE LA PRAIRIE, Man. (U SPORTS) – The Queen's Gaels defeated McMaster for the national bronze medal at the U SPORTS/Curling Canada Championships. 

Queen's earned a 7-5 victory over McMaster to win the bronze medal. The win came after falling in the semi-finals to UNB 5-3. Queen's closed out the round-robin as the third seed and defeated the fourth seed McMaster for Bronze.

Schedule and Results

Three Gaels were also honoured as major award winners and All-Canadians. Mary Fay was named the RW Pugh Fair Play recipient for the second time in her career while Kenna Bartlett was a first-team All-Canadian and Michaela Robert was a second team.
