FREDERICTON (U SPORTS) – The Queen's Gaels finished fourth at the 2019 U SPORTS women's curling championship, while claiming three separate award honours at the national level.
The Gaels suffered a tough defeat to Dalhousie in their bronze medal match dropping a 6-5 decision to finish fourth.
Schedule and Results
The Gaels finished the round-robin play with a 5-2 record and finishing as the second seed. In the semifinal they drew the Brock Badgers, a team Queen's defeated in round robin play, but couldn't pull off a second victory falling 6-5.
Despite the fourth place finish the Gaels were well represented among the nations best when the All-Canadians and award winners were announced.

Calli Barclay was named a first-team All-Canadian.
