KINGSTON, Ont. (February 26, 2018) - Marlee Sauder of women's Nordic skiing and Zac Hutcheson of men's volleyball have been named the Gabriel Pizza Queen's University Varsity Team Athletes of the Week for the period ending February 25, 2018.

Marlee Sauder (St. Marys, Ont.) of the women's Nordic Skiing team is the Queen's University Female Athlete of the Week. Sauder had a big weekend for the Gaels at the OUA Championship in Thunder Bay picking up a bronze medal in the women's mass start free 10km run. For her efforts throughout the weekend, she was also named an OUA All-Star.

Zac Hutcheson (Kingston, Ont.) of the men's volleyball team is the Queen's University Male Athlete of the Week. Hutcheson had an outstanding finish to the regular season with 16 kills and just one attacking error in the Gaels 3-1 win over Trent. Hutcheson finished with an efficiency of 0.429 in the victory which cemented the Gaels into third in the OUA East setting up a playoff matchup at Western Saturday.
