KINGSTON, Ont. (October 5, 2018) - Queen's (6-5-1) had a single lone game this Thanksgiving weekend when they made the trek across the Causeway in Kingston to meet the RMC Paladins (2-8-2). The two rivals battled to a 1-1 draw.
GAME FLOW
The home side Paladins were the first to find the scoresheet in this one as Liam Chambers found the back of the Queen's net scoring past Gaels keeper
Alexander Dimock.
Queen's was able to respond in the 45th minute as
Michael Chang scored on a penalty kick. Chang finished the match with five shots and three landing on target.
The Tricolour applied offensive pressure in the second half with eight of their total 13 shots but were not able to strike another goal. The defence held RMC to one shot at the Queen's net and the two sides drew 1-1.
FIRST DRAW
The Gaels had yet to draw this season through 11 matches and this marks their first of the campaign.
OUA PLAYOFFS SHAPING UP
Queen's sits at 6-5-1 on the season and currently hold down fourth place in the east sitting five points behind Toronto and three ahead of Nipissing having played one more match than both foes.
