Men's Rugby
After two road victories, the Queen's men's rugby team (2-0) will continue their undefeated season with their home opening match up against the RMC Paladins (0-2) at 1 pm on Saturday at Nixon Field. Admission is free and the game can be seen live at OUA.tv.

Queen's enters play as an undefeated squad, while RMC has yet to clinch a win during their season. RMC's last game came against Brock and saw the Paladins fall 45-17 to the Badgers.

The last meeting between Queen's and RMC resulted in a Gaels victory, with Queen's defeating the Paladins 45-19 during the regular season – a season that saw a 4-4 RMC record compared to a 6-1-1 finish for the Gaels. Since the year 2000 the Gaels have a perfect 14-0 record against their cross-town rivals.

Women's Rugby
Fresh off a blowout home opener victory against Western, the No.7 Gaels women's rugby team (1-1) will be looking to collect their second straight win on the road this Friday at York (0-2) at 7pm.

Last weekend's game against the Western got off to a slow start, with Queen's and Western tied at 12-12 early on. However, the Tricolour exploded offensively as seven different Gaels landed tries, taking a 57-12 victory by the end of the game.

The Gaels will look to build on their stellar performance in Toronto against the Lions who are in search of their first win of the season after falling to both McMaster and Guelph.

Women's Soccer
The No.5 Gaels women's soccer team (3-0-1) will look to defend their undefeated status this weekend as they make the long trek up to North Bay and Sudbury to play the Nipissing Lakers (1-3-1) and the Laurentian Voyageurs (2-3-0) on Saturday and Sunday at 12 pm.

Last weekend, both Gaels opponents played one another to a 1-0 result for Laurentian over Nipissing.

Queen's has yet to suffer a loss four games deep into the season, with a 1-1 draw to the Ottawa Gee-Gees in their most recent match up.

The Gaels met Nipissing in Kingston back on September 3 where the Gaels came away with a 4-2 victory thanks to first-years Alexandra Doane (Brookside, N.S.) and Taylor Green (Fall River, N.S.) finding the scoresheet. Queen's took on Laurentian to open their season on September 2 and also had no trouble with the Voyageurs in a 3-1 victory.

Men's Soccer
It's a road trip for Queen's soccer as the men's soccer team (2-2-0) will travel up North to kick off against Nipissing (2-3-0) and Laurentian (1-4-0) in double header action on Saturday and Sunday at 2:15pm following the women's games.

Last weekend's match up against Carleton saw the Gaels two-game win streak come to an end after falling 3-0 to the Ravens at Richardson Stadium.

Queen's will be looking to bounce back against the Nipissing Lakers on Saturday. The Gaels dominated the Lakers last season, coming away with 5-1 and 6-2 victories during the regular season.

The Gaels also hosted Nipissing and Laurentian in their home opening weekend where they were able to pick up a pair of victories.

Men's Hockey
The men's hockey team hits the ice this Saturday night in Gananoque, Ontario for their annual Lou Jeffries exhibition game against the RMC Paladins.

Lou Jeffries was a dedicated, community-driven volunteer for the town of Gananoque, Ontario. He was recognized by his love of hockey and his involvement in the Gananoque Minor Hockey Association (GMHA). Jeffries assisted the GMHA for more than 50 years until his death at the age of 75. He is also known for his contribution in bringing Junior B hockey to Gananoque in 1971. Over his lifetime, Jeffries worked in a number of different roles including Coach, General Manager, President and League Executive for the GMHA and Junior B Gananoque Islanders.

As a proud supporter of Queen's University hockey, Jeffries was always delighted when a player was able to improve upon their life by moving on to an academic institution or sporting team. Realizing that he played a small part in helping an athlete's dreams come true provided him with great satisfaction.

Women's Hockey
The women's hockey team will get their first taste of exhibition action as they head to Montreal to take on the Concordia Stingers on Sunday afternoon. Both teams were participants in last year's U SPORTS national championship hosted by Queen's in Napanee.
