WATERLOO, Ont. (October 16, 2011) - The Queen's Gaels women's ultimate team took home its first ever national championship this weekend in Waterloo, Ontario. The team beat Western in the championship 8-6 to capture the national title.
The Gaels men's ultimate squad came home with a second place finish as they fell to the Manitoba Bison's in the championships. For the weekend the team had a record of 8-1 with their only loss coming at the hands of the Bison's 15-9.
