QUEBEC CITY (October 9, 2010) – The Gaels men's volleyball team travelled to Laval University this weekend for a pair of exhibition games, losing both games in straight sets to the Rouge et Or.
On Friday night, the Gaels lost 21-25, 18-25, 20-25.
Bryan Fautley (Oakville, Ont.) led Queen's with 14 kills and
Michael Amoroso (Toronto, Ont.) had nine kills and three blocks.
Saturday saw the Gaels lose 16-25, 13-25, 20-25. Fautley again lead the Gaels with 10 kills, and Amoroso had 7 kills.
The Gaels host the Queen's Invitational Men's Volleyball Tournament from October 15th-17th in the ARC Main Gym. Early bird tournament passes are available for $10, while passes at the door will be $15 ($10 for youth). Contact customer service for more information at 613-533-2500.
