St. Catharines, Ont. (November 15, 2008) – Overtime was needed at Brock on Saturday as Queen's would edge the Badgers in a 58-57 thriller. Erin Skippon of Kelowna, B.C., was the Gaels leading scorer with 13 points and nine rebounds.

Queen's would come out on fire taking a 21-7 lead after the first quarter, but would see Brock slowly battle back in the next three frames to earn a 52-52 deadlock after four quarters. In the overtime frame, Queen's was able to net six points to the Badgers five to claim the win for the Gaels.

Maddie Soyle of Waterloo, Ont., would collect nine rebounds and two steals while Queen's season scoring leader Brittany Moore of Hannon, Ont. collected 12 points.

The Gaels will hit the road next weekend travelling to Thunder Bay to take on the Lakehead Thunderwolves. Queen's record is 3-2 while Lakehead's record is an even 3-3. Game time is scheduled for 6:00pm next Friday night.
