Waterloo, Ont. (October 25, 2008) –
Martha Ross of Newton, Ont. scored five goals and added an assist to help the Gaels defeat Western 12-9 in the OUA Semi-Finals.
Ross was involved in six of the teams 12 points and showing true leadership. The third year player has had a solid season recording 24 goals and 11 assist.
Western kept the game close with the help of Lindsay Doxtator of Southwold, Ont. who netted a hat trick.
Queen's will now look forward to tomorrow afternoon as they will play in the OUA Championship match against the host and defending OUA Champions Wilfrid Laurier. Game time is set for 3:00pm
