Queen's University Athletics

Wood is a graduate of the University of Ottawa. He was a member of the 1975 Vanier Cup Gee-Gees Football team. He played for Queen’s in 1976 while completing his Bachelor of Education degree. He was a highly successful high school coach at Thousand Islands Secondary in Brockville until he retired from teaching in June of 2009. He will shift to the responsibility of coaching the Gaels’ defensive line this season.
