History was made Sunday night in Queen's Football's season-opening win over the Toronto Varsity Blues.

Kicker Tyler Mullan (Arts & Science) was a perfect 4-4 on field goal attempts in Queen's 28-12 win over Toronto to become the program's all-time leader in field goals.

Mullan entered the 2026 season with 54 career field goals, three behind current Queen's Football Kicking Coach and Special Teams Assistant Nick Liberatore, who finished his distinguished career with 57 field goals.

With the four made field goals Sunday night, Mullan now sits alone atop Queen's Football's all-time list with 58.

Mullan began his career with Queen's Football in 2022 with an excellent rookie season, finishing a perfect 17 for 17 to be named to the OUA All-Rookie team. Mullan added 11 field goals in 2023, 10 in 2024, and 16 in 2025 to sit at 54 heading into the 2026 season.

Mullan also entered second on Queen's Football's all-time points list with 295, just 39 behind Dan Village's 334. With the four field goals and two extra points scored Sunday in Toronto, Mullan's all-time points total now sits at 309.

Queen's Football is off next week, with an early Week 2 bye. Queen's returns to Richardson Stadium for their home opener in Week 3, taking on the Waterloo Warriors on Saturday, Sept. 12 at 5 PM. Tickets for the game are on sale now on the Queen's Gaels tickets website.
