Abby Lee from Queen's Women's Lacrosse was named the Marion Ross Trophy recipient at the 2026 Queen's Athletics & Recreation's Colour Awards Tuesday night.
The Marion Ross Trophy is presented to a Varsity Club senior Women's Sports student-athlete who best displays qualities of competitiveness, leadership, sportsmanship, dedication, scholastic achievement, humanitarianism, and exceptional contributions to their team.
Lee (Translational Medicine) was named an OUA All-Star in 2025 after leading the Gaels in draw controls and finishing third on the team in goals scored and second in points.
A three-time OUA All-Star and former OUA Most Valuable Offensive Player (2023), Lee helped Queen's capture the silver medal this season. Queen's Women's Lacrosse earned three OUA silver medals and two OUA gold medals in Lee's time with the team.
"Abby Lee has been a natural leader since her start at Queen's," said Queen's Women's Lacrosse Head Coach Mike Watson. "She is a dominant player, all over the field, and her play sets the tone for the entire team. She is dominant on the draw, defensively 1 on 1 and is able to score at will. She leaves Queen's as one of our most decorated athletes in the past 10 years."
