Carving Their Stories: Black voices in hockey at Queen's

Members of Queen's Men's and Women's Hockey shared their experiences as Black hockey players.

Sienna Bullen from Queen's Women's Hockey and Sam Marburg from Queen's Men's Hockey sat down for a conversation with Queen's Shift Project to talk about their journeys, and what representation in hockey means to them.

The two also talk about what being a Black hockey player means and messages they'd like to leave for the next generation of Black hockey players.

Along with the feature, Bullen is helping Queen's Women's Hockey host a Women of Colour Hockey Collective Game this Friday against the Waterloo Warriors.

Queen's Women's Hockey and the Waterloo Warriors face off on Friday at 7:30 PM at Memorial Centre Arena. Fans can purchase tickets to the game on the Queen's Gaels tickets website.
