Queen's Women's Basketball will host their annual Shoot for the Cure Game this Saturday at the Athletics and Recreation Centre (ARC). The Gaels are taking on the York Lions with tipoff scheduled for 4 PM.
The game is part of an initiative led by U SPORTS Women's Basketball Coaches' Association that raises funds and awareness for the Canadian Cancer Society (CCS) in support of breast cancer research.Â

This year, Queen's Women's Basketball and Shoot for the Cure are teaming up with Relay for Life to highlight Queen's Relay 2026 and raise money for the Canadian Cancer Society.
Â
U SPORTS has been a proud supporter of the Shoot for the Cure initiative since 2007. Last year's campaign raised an impressive $107,496.12, and this year, U SPORTS teams across the country are once again striving to collectively raise $100,000, which would push total donations since its inception to over $2 million in support of the Canadian Cancer Society (CCS).
Join the Gaels this Saturday, wear pink, and come together to make an impact while learning more about Relay for Life, taking place March 20-21. Tickets can be purchased on theÂ
Queen's Gaels Tickets website.
