"We are very proud of the OUA All-Star selections this year. To have this many players selected is a testament to the team's performance this season and also their hard work and commitment to developing their individual skill sets," said Queen's Football Head Coach
Steve Snyder.
"We have a number of experienced players who have battled through adversity and put a ton of work in over 4-6 years. For them to get recognized for the first time is great. Also a young player like
Oliver Jackson having a breakout season.
"
Niklas Henning was selected as an all-star H-Back a few years ago and this year is an all-star as an offensive tackle, which shows everyone just how impressive he has been.
"The consistency of
Ashton Miller-Melancon to be recognized as a four-time all-conference player and positioning himself to be an All-Canadian again is also great to see.
Â
"These guys will be the first ones to pass the credit to their teammates, they are a team first group that played outstanding this year. I can say on behalf of all our coaches, we are proud of these young men."
