Kiyara Letlow and
Ollie Engen were named the Queen's Gaels Student-Athletes of the Week for their performances on the court this past weekend.
Letlow (Kinesiology) had another strong weekend for Queen's Women's Basketball, helping the Gaels sweep their weekend slate of games at home to maintain their perfect record on the season, now at 9-0.
In Friday's 87-46 win over the Waterloo Warriors, Letlow finished with a double-double, recording game-highs in points with 15 and rebounds with 11. Letlow also had three assists, two steals, and a block in the win.
In Saturday's 82-42 win over the Laurier Golden Hawks, Letlow recorded a second straight double-double, recording game-highs in points and rebounds again, finishing with 24 points and 11 rebounds.
Letlow is eighth in the conference in scoring, averaging 17.0 points per game, and fifth in rebounding, averaging 11.7 rebounds per game.
Queen's Women's Basketball will close out the first half of their 2025-26 season next weekend, visiting the Ontario Tech Ridgebacks on Friday, Nov. 28 at 4 PM before coming home to host the McMaster Marauders on Saturday, Nov. 29 at 4 PM at the ARC.Â

Engen (Kinesiology) also helped Queen's Men's Basketball sweep their weekend slate on games at home, helping the Gaels defeat the Warriors and Golden Hawks to increase their winning streak to three games and improve their record to 4-5 on the season.
Engen had a game-high 20 points in Queen's 93-64 win over Waterloo, while also chipping in six assists, four rebounds, and a steal. And in the Gaels' 100-97 win over Laurier on Saturday, Engen led Queen's with 25 points while also adding eight assists and seven rebounds.
Engen leads the Gaels and is third in the OUA in scoring, averaging 20.8 points per game.
