Queen's Men's Hockey's Jack Duff to play in 100th OUA game this weekend

| By:
On Friday, Queen's Men's Hockey starts a massive weekend, but the Gaels will also be celebrating captain Jack Duff's 100th game in the Tricolour.

Duff, a Kingstonian, joined the Gaels following the cancellation of the hockey season due to the pandemic and played in the shortened 20 game season to start his career. Duff scored his first goal as a Gael as well as in the playoffs. His leadership on and off the ice and his history of being a captain in the OHL  with the Erie Otters to him wearing the "C" in this third year.

"The last 100 games have been an incredible experience," Duff said. "Being part of a program with so much history and so many great players before me has been an honour. It's been amazing growing with this team and contributing to the legacy of Queen's hockey."

Duff has been a force on defense since coming to Queen's, averaging 20 minutes a game while defending against the best players the OUA has to offer.

Duff has also represented Queen's on the national and international level with helping Queen's get to last years U SPORTS University Cup National championship and winning gold at the 2025 Winter Universiade in Italy along side fellow 100 game club member Nolan Hutcheson and Head Coach Brett Gibson

"The first time I met Jack I knew he was someone I needed in our program" said Gibson. "He is a throwback and a guy I lean on heavily to maintain the culture of Queen's Hockey, which players before have instilled in him. Jack, it has been a privilege to coach you for these 100 games."

The Gaels will play their final weekend of the first half against Carleton on Friday and Concordia on Saturday. Both games at 7:30pm at the Memorial Centre.
