Queen's Football is Yates Cup bound for the third time in the past five seasons after travelling to Windsor, Ont. and defeating the host Windsor Lancers 36-25 Saturday afternoon.
With the victory, Queen's, who entered the OUA Playoffs as the No. 4 seed, advanced to the 117th Yates Cup, where they will take on the defending champions and No. 1 seed, Laurier Golden Hawks, Saturday Nov. 8 at 1 p.m. in Waterloo, Ont.

Saturday's semifinal game was a tight contest through the first three quarters, with the Lancers leading at half time and after the third quarter, before Queen's Football outscored their opponent 16-0 in the final quarter to pull away and earn the 11-point win.
Running back
Jared Chisari (Graduate Studies) continued a strong season for Queen's, pacing the offence with 176 yards and two touchdowns off 16 carries, including a late score that put the game out of reach for Windsor and secured the win for Queen's.
Quarterback
Alex Vreeken (Kinesiology) had an efficient outing, finishing 18-27 for 183 yards and two touchdowns. Vreeken's two scores went to
Logan Walton and
Nathan Falconi.
Walton (Economics) led Queen's in receiving with 91 yards off three receptions while Falconi (Health Studies) continued an excellent season with four receptions for 64 yards.
Queen's defence held the Lancers to just 110 yards passing and recorded two sacks, with
Jacob Baldwin (Economics) and
Eric Johnston (Environmental Studies) each bringing down the quarterback once, and two interceptions, with
Ashton Miller-Melancon (Arts & Science) and
John Corscadden (Graduate Studies) each recording an interception.
Baldwin also led Queen's in tackles with 11 on the game. And for Miller-Melancon, the interception was their fifth on the season, regular season and playoffs combined.
Queen's Football will look to exact some revenge on Laurier, after the Golden Hawks defeated Queen's at Richardson Stadium in early September, 47-32.
