Alex Robert has signed a professional contract with the Manchester Storm of the Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL) in the United Kingdom.
Robert, who played suited up 67 times for the Gaels in his collegiate career, inked a one-year deal with the Storm.
The winger, from Gloucester, Ontario, found the net ten times during the 2023-24 Men's hockey season, adding 14 helpers in the process. Robert played a key role in the Gaels 19-8-1 record in the eastern conference of the OUA a season ago.
Robert joins a Manchester team that finished the 2023-24 season with a record of 27-20-7, good enough for fourth in the league standings.
Queen's want to thank Robert for his contributions to the Gaels men's hockey program and wish him the best in his professional career.
