Former Queen’s Women’s Volleyball player Jackie Boyle part of Canada’s Cycling Team at Paris 2024 Olympics

Former Queen's Women's Volleyball player Jackie Boyle will be at the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympics as part of Team Canada's Cycling team, Cycling Canada and the Canadian Olympic Committee announced.

Boyle will be an alternate for Team Canada in the Cycling – Track events.

Boyle played for Queen's Women's Volleyball from 2016-19 as an Outside Hitter before joining the RBC Training Ground and starting her career as a world class cyclist.

Boyle has been competing in the sport ever since, choosing Cycling over Bobsleigh, which also recruited her from the RBC Training Ground. Boyle competed in the UCI Nations Cup in 2021 and UCI World Championships in 2022, and earned medals at the 2023 Pan American Championships (silver in the team sprint), and the Santiago 2023 Pan American Games (bronze in team sprint).

The Cycling – Track events at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games take place August 5-11.
