KINGSTON, Ont. (March 7, 2024) – Four players from Queen's Men's Hockey were named conference All-Stars for the 2023-24 season by the OUA on Thursday.
Dalton Duhart was named an OUA First Team All-Star,
Jonathan Yantsis was named an OUA Second Team All-Star, and
Derek Hamilton was named to the OUA All-Rookie team, the conference announced Thursday.
"I am excited for the four players to get recognized individually for the season's they had. Jacob and Jon have moved on to pro hockey based on their respective season's accomplishments. Dalton and Derek will return with renewed confidence after being recognized as All-Stars and have something to build on."
Duhart (Grand Blanc, Mich.) led the OUA in assists with 27 and finished second in the conference in points with 44.
Paquette (Ottawa, Ont.) finished the year with three goals and 11 assists in 26 games for the Gaels.
Yantsis (Markham, Ont.) finished the regular season tied for second in the OUA with 18 goals and tied for fifth in the conference in points with 37.
Duhart, Paquette, and Yantsis also competed on the U SPORTS All-Star team in the exhibition series against Canada's World Juniors team in December, helping U SPORTS split the two-game series.
Hamilton (Kingston, Ont.) finished fifth on the Gaels in scoring, recording nine goals and 13 assists for 22 points in 27 games.
Queen's finished the regular season with a program record-tying 19 wins in the regular season.
