Queen's Men's Hockey's Jack Duff and Nolan Hutcheson signed professional contracts with the Toledo Walleye of the ECHL.
As team captain, Duff (Biology) has led the Gaels into a strong postseason. Duff finished the regular season with three assists in 26 games and was part of a defence that helped Queen's finish eighth in the OUA in team defence, averaging 2.89 goals against per game.
Duff was a three-year captain and two-time OUA All-Star with the Gaels. He also won a gold medal with Team Canada at the FISU Games and twice competed against the Canadian World Junior Team as a U SPORTS All-Star.
Hutcheson (Health Studies) has delivered an impressive season, scoring two game-winning goals and averaging a point per game throughout the postseason. Hutcheson finished the regular season with 12 goals and 12 assists for 24 points in 28 games, leading the Gaels.
Hutcheson finished his career with the Gaels as the program's second leading scorer all-time. AN OUA All-Star this past season, Hutcheson also won a gold medal with Team Canada at the FISU Games.
